How To set an Outbound Display Number in Account Manager

Objective

This article will guide you through setting an outbound display number for an extension.

This is often used so that individuals within a company can make outgoing calls and display the mainline number rather than their individual extension.

Procedure

List how this task is accomplished

  1. Log into Account Manager.
  2. Click Phone System.

  3. Click View All Extensions.

  4. In the Manage Extensions page click Edit next to the extension you wish to amend.

  5. Choose the desired number from the drop down box under External Caller ID.

    Note: If the number you wish to display is not shown in the drop down box please contact Customer Support. This can include external numbers so long as proof of ownership is available.
