Cisco 504G IP Phones restarting when setting DND

Question 

When using VOD and a Cisco 504G IP Phone and setting DND the Cisco phone restarts. Is this expected behaviour.

Answer

This is expected behaviour. It is due to a NOTIFY check-sync being sent to the phone when this happens.
