Can't Play Audio File for Special Event in Virtual Contact Center Schedule

Symptom

I want to play an Audio File for a Special Event in my Schedule, but I only see choices #1 to #6, with no option to play an Audio File.

Resolution

The Audio File play needs to be added in the inbound phone Script.

  1. Navigate to the inbound phone Script.
  2. Under the Schedule object, collapse the Open parameter.
  3. The parameters #1 through #6 are visible.
  4. Select a parameter #x that is not being used > click Add.
  5. Create the Play object and select the desired Audio File.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Select Home > Schedules.
  8. Open the Schedule.
  9. Navigate to the Special Event.
  10. Click the Open drop down list.
  11. Select the Choice that matches the #x from the Script.
