Symptom

Invalid Characters and Customer CRM Field Length.

Applies To

  • 8x8 Contact Center
  • Configuration Manager

Resolution

Ensure that the values entered meet the following requirements:

  • The Field Name can contain the following values: A-Z, 0-9, _. The maximum character length is 32.
  • The Display Label can contain any character except ~. The maximum character length is 32.
  • You can also enter an unlimited number of Pick List Values with maximum 32 character length for each. To organize the order of the Pick List and define the default value, click More then Sort Alphabetically.
