Unable to Set a 4 digit Voicemail Password in 8x8 Admin Console

Symptom

I can't set a 4 digit voicemail password in 8x8 Admin Console, the message "Password should have a minimum of 6 digits" shows up.

Resolution

You will need to enter a voicemail password of a minimum of 6 digits.

Cause

Due to security reasons, it was deemed that the voicemail password of 4 digits is not secure enough and the minimum voicemail password length has been increased to 6 digits. This is hardcoded in the product and cannot be changed.
