How do I create a temporary schedule in my Auto-Attendant?

Objective

Setting exceptions on the Auto Attendant.

Exceptions are a one time change that overrides the regular business hours, for that particular date. 

Applies To

Virtual Office Configuration Manager

Procedure

  1. Log in to Virtual Office Configuration Manager.
  2. Click Auto Attendants.
  3. If you have not yet created a schedule, click Create a schedule.

  4. After setting up a schedule, you should see an option to create an exception at the bottom of the schedule window.
  5. Click +Add an exception. You will see a new box that opens, and this allows for new input.

  6. Enter a name (e.g., Company Picnic), set the date, select the appropriate Open/Closed status, and set the desired hours.
  7. Save your created Exception.
