Unable to answer calls when using BLF

Objective

Work around for this issue to disable call screening for the extensions part of the Ring Group or AA.

Applies To

Using Configure Manager when receiving call from Ring Group and AA

Procedure

Configuration Manager account:

  1. Login to the configuration Manager

  2. Click on extensions in CM

  3. Click on username for the extension

  4. Go to “Voice Basic Settings”

  1. Click on “Line Key Configuration”
  2. Scroll down to “Enable call screen notifications”
  3. Turn off call screen notifications and hit save.
     

Additional Information

This should stop screen from flashing when calls come through Ring Group which enable user to answer call. However please keep in mind this workaround will disable call screen notifications from BLF.
