The legacy 8x8 Virtual Office for Salesforce integration may display the following message in place of the integration communication panel in Salesforce:
- This plugin is limited to 5 open instances. Please close Salesforce tabs that are not in use.

To clear this message and restore the dialer, do one or both of the following:
- Close any browser tabs which contain the 8x8 integration until there are fewer than five.
- Clear your web browser cache and/or restart your web browser.

This problem is caused by a design limitation, and happens when:
- The Salesforce user has more than five browser tabs or windows open in which the 8x8 communication panel is visible. This legacy version of the integration cannot support more than five visible instances at one time.
- The Salesforce user's web browser cache has become corrupted.
