How to Resolve Deskphone Beep During Outbound Call
Symptom
When making an outbound call from any desk phone on the 8x8 Work Platform you will hear several beeps followed by the dial tone.

Resolution
Listening to your Voicemail message will remove the beeps when dialling out.
Cause
The beeps at the start of the outbound call indicate that there is a new voicemail in your inbox. It is indicated by a symbol on the phone's screen. eg Envelope (this can vary depending on the model of phone)
