Procedure
Your phone’s firmware will determine its default administrator password, as well as your ability to utilize certain features, such as Virtual Receptionist, or peripheral devices, such as the VVX webcam. To see your phone’s current firmware version, view the steps for your phone model below. (If you don’t see your model listed, refer to the user manual for your phone.)
Cisco SPA 525G2
- Press the Menu (paper icon) button.
- Using the arrow and center buttons, scroll down and press 10. Status.
- Press 1. Product Information. Your firmware version will appear after Software Version.
Poly SoundPoint IP, SoundStation IP, and VVX 300
- Press the Menu button.
- Using either the arrow and center button or the number keys, press 2. Status.
- Press 1. Platform.
- Press 2. Application.
- Press 1. Main. Your firmware version will appear in Version.
Example: SoundPoint IP550 display
Poly VVX 400/500/600
- From the Home view, select or tap Settings.
- Press 4. Status.
- Press 1. Platform.
- Press 2. Application.
- Press 1. Main. Your firmware version will appear after Version.
