Data Import Through Salesforce Gets Invalid Phone Numbers

Symptom

When you perform a Data Import from Salesforce into ContactNow, the Data Import analyzes the import and reports that almost all of the records have an invalid phone number.

Applies To

ContactNow CRM Data Import from Salesforce.

Cause

During the import process, the Salesforce Phone field was not mapped to a pre-configured ContactNow phone number field.

Resolution

During the data import process, you must map the Salesforce Phone field to one of the three pre-configured ContactNow phone number fields:

  • HomePhone
  • WorkPhone
  • MobilePhone
