Creating or Amending Outbound Phone Codes

Objective

How to set up Outbound Phone Codes in Virtual Contact Center (VCC).

Procedure

  1. Log onto VCC Configuration Manager.
  2. Select Outbound Phone Codes.

  3. Either Click Add to create a code list.

  4. Fill in the Name, language and tick the active box.

  5. Click Save.
  6. Click Add under the Codes tab.

  7. Tick Active to enable the code, Fill in the Text of the code, Report Text, Select a Queue.

  8. Double Click on the Calling line identifier blue word/number.

  9. Choose a channel number from the Calling Line ID list box that opens.

  10. Repeat steps 6-10 until you have all the codes/numbers you want set up.
  11. Press Save.
  12. Click Assignments Tab.

  13. Select the Groups that are to use the code list.

  14. Press Save.

Amending an Already Set Up Code

  1. Log onto VCC Configuration Manager.
  2. Select Outbound Phone Codes.

  3. Select the Code list you want to amend and edit it.
  4. Go to Codes tab.
  5. Add/delete/deactivate any codes you need.
  6. Go to Assignments tab.
  7. Adjust as needed the groups to use the codes. 

Note: Agents will need to select the appropriate code from their outbound code list to show the number they want to use as their outbound dial code.
