How Make an Agent a Super User in Virtual Contact Center

Objective

To make a Virtual Contact Center (VCC) agent a Super User.

Applies To

  • Virtual Contact Center
  • Mode 3 accounts
  • Super Users

Procedure

VCC Admin in Account Manager

  1. Log into 8x8 Account Manager.
  2. Click Account > Privileges.
  3. Locate the User. 
    • If the user is not in the list, click Assign New Privileges > check the box next to the desired user's name.
    • If the user is in the list, next to the desired User click Edit.
  4. Under Account Manager Privileges check the box VCC Admin.
  5. Click Save Changes.

Super User in VCC Configuration Manager

  1. Log into VCC Configuration Manager.
  2. Select Agents
  3. Click Edit (pencil icon). 
  4. Navigate to the General tab.
  5. Under Role setting, change to SuperUser.
  6. Click Save.

The user will need to log out and log in.
