How to Set Up Email Notifications for Voicemail Queue

Objective 

To setup email notification for voicemail queue.

Applies To

  • 8x8 Contact Center
  • Voicemail Queue

Procedure

Email notifications can be enabled through the IVR tab or the Notification tab. 

IVR  

  1. Log in to Contact Center Configuration Manager
  2. Click Queues/Skills.
  3. Click Edit (pencil icon) for a voicemail queue. 
  4. Navigate to the IVR Tab.
  5. Toggle the checkbox for to agent email address. 
     
  6. Click Save. 

Notification 

  1. Log in to Contact Center Configuration Manager
  2. Click Queues/Skills.
  3. Click Edit (pencil icon) for a voicemail queue. 
  4. Navigate to the Notification tab. 
  5. Toggle the checkbox for Enabled
  6. Enter the email address. 
  7. Click Save.
