Virtual Contact Center Dynamic Campaign API Configuration

Objective

Configuring the Dynamic Campaign API for Virtual Contact Center.

Procedure

Configure the Outbound Setup

  1. Log in to Virtual Contact Center Configuration Manager as an admin.
  2. Go to Outbound Setup.
  3. Click CRM Objects.
  4. Click + Object.
  5. To the right of Object, click +.

Configure the Campaign

  1. In VCC Configuration Manager, go to Campaigns.
  2. Click + Campaign.

  3. Complete the required fields.
  4. Check the boxes next to This campaign is enabled and Dynamic Campaign.

  5. Click Save.
  6. Go to Campaigns > Filter.

  7. Here you can create a filter. In this example, we filtered for the customer where voice equals 111111111111.
  8. Click Test and check the result.
  9. Save and return to campaign list.
  10. The campaign is now ready.

Configure Postman to Send Requests

  1. Right-click this link and download the API collection.
  2. Open the postman and import the collection.

  3. The collection has examples to QA8, dev19 and localhost configured.

Configure the Requests

  1. Go to Integration > API Token and get the API token.

  2. Select the first request: PATCH-Campaign QA8.
  3. On the Authorization tab, edit your tenant and token.

  4. Edit the URL to include the campaign ID.

  5. Check the body.

  6. Send the request.

  7. The campaign should be running.

  8. Repeat the steps to configure all other requests.
