Missing Dial-In Numbers in Conference Bridge Email (556 Service)

Symptom

After creating a conference by dialing "556" the end-user will receive an email with no dial-in numbers for both internal and external participants, similar to the screenshot below:

  • Account Manager

Resolution

Assign a virtual number to the 556 extension. 

  1. Log in to Account Manager.
  2. Click Phone System.
  3. Click Virtual and Toll-Free Numbers.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Next to Destination select Ext 556 - Conference Bridge.Screen Shot 2019-11-21 at 10.19.35 AM.png
  6. Click Confirm.

Cause

The 556 service doesn't have a virtual number assigned.
