Virtual Office for SugarCRM

The Virtual Office for SugarCRM integration allows users of cloud-based SugarCRM to access call features of their Virtual Office phone extension, as well as allowing them to create and save call records in SugarCRM.

This integration is designed for the cloud-based version of SugarCRM, and includes both 8x8 Virtual Office (VO) and Virtual Contact Center (VCC) functionality, depending on the 8x8 product you are using.

Requirements & Limitations

Browser Requirements

We recommend using Google Chrome to ensure a smooth experience.

Limitations

  • The SugarCRM integration can only be launched in a floating window.
  • The SugarCRM integration does not currently support click-to-dial.

Supported CRM Objects

The following SugarCRM objects have been tested with the Virtual Office integration:

  • Accounts
  • Contacts
  • Leads
  • Opportunities
  • Cases

Note: Like all 8x8 Virtual Office phone integrations, the VO for SugarCRM integration is a convenient control panel for your 8x8 Virtual Office phone extension. It does not provide audio services.

For this reason, a desk phone or a softphone such as Virtual Office Desktop or Virtual Office Mobile is required to work in conjunction with the VO for SugarCRM integration.
