How do I change what is displayed for inbound calls to Ring Groups?

Procedure

To change what is displayed for inbound calls to your Ring Group

  1. Log in to 8x8 
  2. Click on the "Virtual Office Account Mgr" box
  3. Click "Phone System" near the top of the page
  4. Click "Ring Groups" on the left hand navigation bar
  5. Click "Edit" for the Ring Group you want to change
  6. Click on the drop down list to the right of "Ring Group Caller ID"RGCIDDropdown.png
  7. Select one of the 3 options
  8. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page

Additional Information

The 3 options available are:

  • Ring Group Name and Ring Group Extension
  • Ring Group Name and Caller's Number
  • Caller's Name and Caller's Number
