Error Assigning X8 License: User Settings Saved with Errors Failed at VCC Extension Save
Symptom
Admin users are unable to assign X8 licenses to their users in 8x8 Admin Console. This process fails with and error that reads, "User settings saved with errors. Failed at VCC extension save."

Resolution
Ensure the username has fewer than 40 characters.
Cause
There is a limit of 40 characters for usernames.
Additional Information
This error could also be related to the suggested extension for the VCC Seat. If the suggested extension has already been used, but is on a deleted user profile. In this case, entering an alternative extension will clear the error and also properly assign the user a VCC seat.
