Unable to Send Welcome Email or Reset User Password Error: Send Welcome Email Has Failed. Please Try Again!

Symptom

When trying to send welcome email or reset user password, you receive the following error: "Send welcome email has failed. Please try again!"

Applies To

  • Configuration Manager
  • Welcome Emails

Resolution

  1. Click Users.
  2. Click Edit (pencil icon) next to the user.
  3. Remove Services under Service and Permissions.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Add the Services back to the user profile.
  6. Click Save.

Retest to ensure that you are able to send welcome email or reset password.
