How do I change my music on hold in Virtual Office Configuration Manager?

Virtual Office allows users to select their own music on hold from the Music on Hold library. As an administrator, you can select which music is available to extension users, select the default music on hold for extensions where no music has been selected and upload new music to the Music on Hold library.

To change your music on hold in VO Configuration Manager

In Virtual Office Configuration Manager, hold music can only be set at an individual level for users and services, rather than for the whole company or site.

  1. Log in to VO Configuration Manager.
  2. Click Users.
  3. Click More Options (three dots) to the right of the user you wish to edit.
  4. Select Edit.
  5. Go to Music on Hold and click Change File.
  6. Click Create Audio Files.
  7. Upload an .au file or call a number to record your music on hold.

To upload an Audio File

  1. In the menu, select By Uploading an Audio File.
  2. Enter the Title of your recording.
  3. Click the center of your screen or drag an audio file to the Upload your Audio File window.
  4. Click Save.

To record an Audio File

  1. Click Create Audio Files.
  2. Select By Calling a Number to Record.
  3. Enter the Name and the Phone Number or Extension on which you wish to record your initial greeting.
  4. Click Call Now and follow the instructions.
  5. Click Save.
