Some missed calls are not showing in your desk phone's call history.


Most likely the calls came via a Ring Group you are a part of, and were answered by someone else in the Ring Group. Behavior for these missed calls in the 8x8 system was temporarily changed but now works as orginially intended: A call comes into a Ring Group, is answered by a member of the group, and then appears as a "missed call" to the other members of the group.

Restoring the original behavior requires a reboot of the affected phone(s).


To see missed calls in the call history, reboot your desk phone by unplugging it from its power source for one minute and then plugging it back in.

After the reboot, behavior will revert to showing all missed calls to your extension. (Call history prior to the reboot will be lost.)
