Enable Bandwidth Management Advanced
  1. Log in to the SonicWall web GUI.
  2. Go to Firewall Settings > BWM.
  3. Next to Bandwidth Management Type, select Advanced.

Enable Consistent NAT
  1. Go to VoIP > Settings.
  2. Under General Settings, select Enable consistent NAT.

Configure WAN Interface
  1. Go to Network > Interfaces.
  2. Locate the Phone LAN
  3. Next to the Phone LAN, under the Configure column, select Configure.

  4. Click the Advanced tab.
  5. Under Link Speed, check the box to Enable 802.1p tagging.

  6. Scroll down to the Bandwidth Management section.
  7. Check the boxes to Enable Bandwidth Management and set the Available Bandwidth to 10,000.

  8. Click OK.
Add the 8x8 Prefixes as Address Objects
  1. Go to Firewall > Address Objects.
  2. Click Add.

  3. Add each of the 8x8 prefixes/subnets as Address Objects. These can be found in the Virtual Office Technical Requirements document.

  4. You can see the new Address Objects displayed.

Create an 8x8 Address Group
  1. Go to Firewall > Address Objects.
  2. Select the Address Groups tab.
  3. Click Add Group.
  4. Name the group 8x8.
  5. Add the 8x8 prefixes to the 8x8 Address Group.

Set Guaranteed and Maximum Bandwidth
  1. Go to Firewall > Bandwidth Objects.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Set Guaranteed and Maximum Bandwidth according to customer's connection speed and amount of phones.
  4. Click OK.

Add a LAN > WAN Access Rule
  1. Go to Firewall > Access Rules.
  2. Check the box for LAN > WAN.
  3. Click Add.

  4. Configure the General settings, QoS, and BWM.





  5. Click Add.
