When the NetSuite 8x8 Integration user makes or receives a call and then attempts to save the call data when the call ends, they receive a red error message at the bottom of the 8x8 integration.

"No calls logged against Contact record, company not associated with Contact."


This error is most often caused when the NetSuite Contact associated with the called/calling phone number does not have a Company associated with it.


NetSuite architecture requires that a Company be assigned to the Contact in order to store data passed from the 8x8 integration.

To resolve this issue, the Contact must be edited, a Company assigned to it, and Saved.

Once this is done, call data logged in the 8x8 integration will be stored in the associated contact without errors.
