8x8 for Microsoft Teams: New Microsoft Teams Compatibility
Overview
Microsoft announced the availability of a new Microsoft Teams application for Windows and Mac on October 5, 2023.
On October 31, 2023 Microsoft announced that all Microsoft Teams users would be automatically updated to the new Microsoft Teams after March 31, 2024.
Currently, Microsoft Teams users who have not already updated to the new Microsoft Teams may see a button at the top-left of the app labeled Try the new Teams.

Yes. 8x8 has tested the new version of Microsoft Teams for compatibility with both 8x8 Voice for Microsoft Teams and the 8x8 Phone App for Microsoft Teams, and both products work as expected with it. No issues were found.
