Why Inbound calls do not follow forwarding rules


Inbound calls are offering to the end-user whilst end-user is busy on the line. 

  • When user is busy 
  • When user does not answer the call within 10 seconds 

Applies To

  • Admin Console
  • Forwarding Calls



  1. Please ensure call waiting is not enabled on the extension.
  2. Extension is on DND status then calls overflow to extension`s voicemail 


If the call waiting is enabled then it will not follow call forwarding rules and offer to the end-user
