Bulk Contacts Upload Error Invalid Payload Firstname First Name Should Be Specified
Symptom
When uploading a Bulk Contacts .csv file, you get the following payload error in the process contacts report sheet:
| Invalid payload. firstName: First name should be specified. |

Resolution
- Save the file from excel as the following format: CSV (comma delimited) (*.csv)
- Re-upload the .csv file
Cause
From our testing, this is a parser error caused by uploading a file formatted as CSV UTF-8, which has the same file extension (.csv) but is not an acceptable format for our system.
