Call History Shows the Ring Group's Name not the Caller's Name

Question

Are Ring Group calls supposed to show the Ring Group name instead of the Caller's Name in the Call History?

Answer

This is expected behavior for calls offered through Ring Groups. While the call is actively being offered, the notification will display the Caller's Name and Caller's Number as long as the Ring Group is configured that way. Afterwards, the Call History will still show the Caller's Number, but the Ring Group Name will be displayed instead of the Caller ID information.
