Why are calls not transcribed?

  • A call without transcription can occur in two different scenarios:
    • A recording is too short
    • The recording is corrupted

A corrupted file consists of broken header fields and might still be playable by our own internal player on the Quality Management page since we have code in place which ignores a damaged file. The difference is we are using a third-party component (VOCI) for performing the transcriptions, and this module was developed to disregard any files that have missing pieces. Any absent parts of a file cannot be recovered.
