Does 8x8 Services support 802.1x network authentication?

Answer

8x8 does NOT provide support/assistance with 802.1x authentication methods and is unable to assist in setting this option up to connect phones to the network. While some devices do support the option for 802.1x to be implemented, this is completely up to the the customers network administrator and/or on-site IT personnel to implement and service.

Additional Information

8x8 Support and Professional Services will not be able to assist with implementing 802.1x (including providing customization to the phone configuration or uploading certificates). If this functionality is required, the Phone and/or Switch device manufacturer will need to be contacted and worked with directly.
