Enable or Disable Call Forwarding on a Cisco 525G Device

Objective

Enable or disable call forwarding on a Cisco 525G Device.

Applies To

  • Cisco 525 and Cisco 525G devices

Procedure

There are 3 call forwarding types on Cisco devices.
1. Always
2. No Answer
3. Busy

Enable Call Forwarding

  1. Press the Menu key.
  2. Select User Preferences and then Call Preferences.
  3. Make sure Call Forwarding is ON and then select one of the options: Forward All Number, Forward Busy Number, Forward No Ans Number.
  4. Input the internal extension or the external number into the Forward To field. 

Disable Call Forwarding

  1. Press the Menu key.
  2. Select User Preferences and then Call Preferences. 
  3. Delete the internal extension or the external number from the Forward To field.

Additional Information

When Call Forwarding is set up on the device, the screen of the device will show "Calls Forwarded to xxxx."
