Getting Not Activated When Calling VCC Channel Number

Symptom

When calling the Channel Number, you hear an error message that says, "The number you reached is not activated. Please try again later."

Applies To

  • Virtual Contact Center admins
  • VCC Configuration Manager

Resolution

Log into the VCC Configuration Manager and do the following:

  1. Go to the Channels menu.
  2. Edit the Channel Number that is not working.
  3. Select checkbox: This channel is enabled.
  4. Save changes.

Cause

The Channel Number was previously deactivated or disabled.
