Getting Not Activated When Calling Virtual Contact Center Channel Number

Symptom

When calling the Channel Number in Virtual Contact Center (VCC), you hear an error message that says, "The number you reached is not activated. Please try again later."

Applies To

  • Virtual Contact Center
  • Configuration Manager
  • Admins

Resolution

  1. Log in to VCC Configuration Manager.
  2. Click Channels.
  3. Click Edit (Pencil icon) for the Channel Number that is not working.
  4. Select checkbox: This channel is enabled.

  5. Click Save

Cause

The Channel Number was previously deactivated or disabled.
