How to Assign and Unassign Numbers from 8x8 Contact Center
Objective
Move a 8x8Work number to Virtual Contact Center or vice versa.
Applies To
- Admin Console
- Virtual Contact Centre
Procedure
- Log in to Admin Console as an administrator.
- Navigate to Virtual Contact Center > Channels.
- Search for the phone number.
- Tick the box next to the phone number.
- Click on Assign to Virtual Contact Center.
- A green banner will display at the top of the page to confirm the phone number has been assigned to 8x8 Contact Center.
Unassign A Number
- Log in to Admin Console as an administrator.
- Navigate to Virtual Contact Center > Channels.
- Search for the phone number.
- Tick the box next to the phone number.
- Click on Unassign.
- A green banner will display at the top of the page to confirm the phone number has been unassigned from 8x8 Contact Center.
