Symptom
When editing a user profile for Microsoft Azure AD, you receive an error that reads, "Dot (.) is not allowed."

Resolution
Enter the mobile phone in Azure without any dots. The recommendation is to enter the mobile phone number like +19999999999.
Cause
Mobile phone in Azure contains a dot (period).
