On macOS, Virtual Office Desktop crashes on start up or when attempting to make a call, typically with the following error: Virtual Office Desktop has closed unexpectedly.

Applies To

Virtual Office Desktop (Mac)

Uninstall and Reinstall Virtual Office Desktop

  1. In Finder, navigate to Applications.
  2. Click Utilities.
  3. Find and run Adobe AIR - Uninstaller.
  4. Uninstall Virtual Office Desktop.
  5. Download the latest version of Virtual Office Desktop.
  6. Re-install Virtual Office Desktop.

This crash may be caused by a separate installation of Adobe AIR being present on the machine, which conflicts with the Adobe AIR baked into the Virtual Office Desktop installation file.
