8x8 Support

New Chat Button Does Not Show on Webpage


Updated chat button does not show on the web page. The code has been regenerated and applied but the old button is still there. 

Applies To

  • 8x8 Contact Center 
  • Contact Center Configuration Manager
  • Scripts 


  1. Log in to Contact Center Configuration Manager
  2. Click Scripts.
  3. Click Edit (pencil icon). 
  4. Edit the script to point to the new chat button.
  5. Re-generate the code snippet.
  6. Upload the new code snippet to your website.


The chat script is still pointing to the old chat button.
