How to Factory Reset Yealink W52P DECT Phones

Objective
Reset Yealink DECT Base Station to Factory Defaults using the GUI or through the physical base
Applies To
Yealink W52P / W52H, Yealink W60P / W56H
Procedure
Factory reset Yealink W52P (GUI)
1. Log into base
For a provisioned base use:
username: admin
password: mac password
For a factory resetted base use:
username: admin
password: admin
2. Navigate to PHONE tab > Upgrade
3. Click on Reset Now

Factory reset Yealink W52P (MANUALLY)
- Power off the unit - if powered by PoE this might mean unplugging the network cable
- Wait 15 seconds
- Press and hold the connect button on the base station
- Reconnect the power
- Wait until all 3 status lights are on, showing solid green
- Release the button and wait 5 minutes
- Power off the unit
- Wait 15 seconds
- Reconnect the power
- Your phone may update it's configuration after the reboot which may result in a second reboot process automatically within a minute or two of the first reboot
Note: You will need to re-pair the handset after resetting the base station back to factory defaults to get the base IP address
