Editing and Deleting Messages in Fuze Chat

Objective

Edit or delete chat messages in Fuze Desktop, Web, or Mobile.

Procedure

After you send a message, you can edit or delete the message from the conversation history.

Editing a Message

  1. Open the chat conversation containing the message you want to edit.
  2. Point to the message to display a hidden menu.

  3. Click the Edit this message icon.

  4. Update your message.
  5. Click Confirm to apply your changes, or click Cancel to discard the changes.

Deleting a Message

  1. Open the chat conversation containing the message you want to delete.
  2. Point to the message to display a hidden menu.

  3. Click the Delete this message icon.

  4. A notification message will appear requesting that you confirm your action.

  5. Click Delete. Your message will be deleted from the chat conversation.

Deleted messages cannot be recovered. We currently do not offer the ability to delete a complete chat history. Multiple messages that make up a chat conversation would have to be deleted one at a time.
