Gathering Console Logs to Diagnose GUI Issues in Virtual Contact Center

Objective

To gather console data to help diagnose issues with the Virtual Contact Center (VCC) GUI, which Support can use for investigation purposes.

Applies To

Web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc)

Procedure

  1. Log into VCC > press F12.
    • In Chrome it will then bring up a side panel:

    • In Firefox it will look like this:

  2. Press F5 to refresh the screen.
  3. Click Network tab.
    • Chrome example:

  4. You will need to Enable logging:
    • In Chrome click Preserve Log:

    • In Firefox click Persist Logs

Saving Console Logs (HAR file)

Follow the below steps, for Chrome and Firefox, and then attach the saved .HAR file to the case or email to us for investigation.

In Chrome

  1. Right click in the main body.
  2. Click Save as HAR with content.

  3. Find a location to save to > click Save.

In Firefox 

  1. Click HAR (far right).
  2. Click Save All As HAR.

  3. Click Save file to save in download folder.

  4. Click OK.
