8x8 Virtual Contact Center for Salesforce Lightning


Note: This article applies only to 8x8 Virtual Contact Center v1.0.

If you wish to install and use the latest Contact Center integration in Salesforce (including call center installation), please see the following article:

  1. Download and extract the XML zip file.
  2. Open the XML file using a text editor.
  3. Replace the entry <CTI URL With Tenant> (including the < > characters) in CTI URL Adapter section with a URL containing your specific Contact Center Domain and Tenant.


  1. Save the updated XML file.
  2. Import the XML file into your Salesforce account. This must be done in Salesforce Settings > Call Centers using the Import button.

Note: The XML file will fail to upload if the above changes are not made. Once the file is imported, the values of each Call Center field can be edited in Salesforce.
