Fuze for Salesforce Click-to-Call
Question
What is Fuze for Salesforce Click-to-Call?
Applies To
- Fuze Apps
- Integrations
- Salesforce
Answer
Click-to-Call enables you make calls by simply clicking any phone number next to which the click to call phone icon appears.
When you click a number, your preferred device rings first. When you pick up your preferred device, a call to the number you clicked is then automatically initiated via your preferred device.
You can configure your preferred device in Fuze Desktop. See the Fuze Desktop article Call Settings for details about how to configure your preferred device.
Auto-Link Calls Initiated via Click-to-Call
When you click-to-call a phone number on an opportunity, account, or case, Fuze for Salesforce also automatically associates the call log to the Salesforce contact from which the click-to-call is initiated.
It means you do not need to manually create associations when using click-to-call. However, you can manually override the association at any time.
See Linking a Call Log to a Case, Contract, or Opportunity for details about associating calls.
