What roles are available within Fuze?

Fuze User

Fuze users are licensed and provisioned by their employer's IT administration to use the fully featured set of Fuze apps and services. If allowed by their IT administrator, Fuze users can invite anyone to join a meeting as an external attendee, or invite anyone to create a Fuze guest account and use Fuze chat, group chat, and meetings features.

Your IT administrator can update your user permissions in the Fuze Portal. If you are an IT administrator, refer to Fuze Portal User Roles in the Fuze Community (login required).

External Attendee

An external attendee is anyone outside of a meeting host’s organization who joins a Fuze meeting using a Fuze meeting link, meeting ID, or joins by dialing in.

For example, your company’s sales team wants to host a demo of your products for prospective customers. They can invite anyone to their Fuze meeting, and the invitees can attend for the duration of the meeting.

Fuze Guest

A Fuze guest is anyone outside of your organization you invite to create a Fuze guest account and use Fuze chat, group chat, and meeting features to communicate with people at your organization on an ongoing basis.

For example, if you frequently work with a third-party contractor you can invite them to join Fuze as a guest so that you, the contractor, and other people at your organization can take advantage of Fuze chat, group chat, and meeting features.
