In-App Quality Notifications

Question

What do the Fuze in-app quality notifications mean?

Applies To

  • Fuze Desktop
  • Notifications

Answer

Quality notifications in Fuze Desktop and Fuze Mobile are meant to alert you to issues on your network that may impact meeting or call quality.

These notifications are presented as a yellow or red triangle at the top of the application when in a meeting or on a call.

  • A yellow triangle is intended as a warning that meeting and call quality may be impacted by weak network conditions.

  • A red triangle indicates a high risk to meeting or call quality due to poor network conditions.

To reduce occurrences of these notifications, Fuze suggests using a wired connection when possible.

If using Wi-Fi, try moving closer to your wireless router or access point. Also, consider reviewing these recommendations from PCMag or Lifehacker to learn how to boost your signal.

If you are using Fuze Desktop, you can run Fuze Checkup before joining a meeting or call to check your account, audio, and network quality directly in the application.
