Changing or Setting up Pin for Voicemail in Account Manager

Objective

Change or set up a Pin for voicemail for Virtual Office phones.

Applies To

Virtual Office Account Manager, Virtual Office Desktop (VOD)

Procedure

Through Account Manager

  1. Log into Account Manager.
  2. Go to Phone System.
  3. Click on Extensions.

  4. Find the extension needed by entering the extension number in the Quick Find / Edit Extension bar and clicking Search.
    • Alternatively, go to View All Extensions and find the extension from the list.

  5. Click Edit next to the extension needed.

  6. Go to the Voicemail Settings and expand by clicking the plus symbol.

  7. Enter the new Pin.
  8. Click Save Changes.

You can also do this to change the password by overwriting the password already in the voicemail password box!

Though Virtual Office Desktop (VOD)

Users can do this using VOD (Virtual Office Desktop) as well, by following the below steps.

  1. Log into VOD.
  2. Go to Options button (three dots).

  3. Click Settings.
  4. Select Account Settings.

  5. In My services section of the new box, change/add the password under Voicemail Settings.
  6. Click Save at the bottom of the window.

Additional Information

There may also be an option to change the pin in the physical phone options, after logging into the voicemail system. You need to follow the instructions on the automated service.
